How to sanitize your dishes

Plates, utensils, pots, bowls, glasses and others need to be sanitize in the kitchen after each use.


One of the way to sanitize is to use dishwashing machine. It is going to be clean and sanitize because of chemicals and heat.


The other way is to use three compartment sinks. Here the steps to do three compartment sink method:


1. Clean the surface from food residue

2. Fill up first sink with soapy hot water

3. Fill up the second sink with the plain water

4. Fill up the third sink with sanitizing solution (use proper sanitizer for this step, if you are not sure, ask your chemical supplier).

5. Clean the surface from food residue

6. Wash dishes with the hot and soapy water in a first sink

7. Rinse dishes with hot water, removing soap and foam from the surface in a second sink

8. Soak in sanitizing solution for 10-15 min in a third sink

9. Air dry the dishes


If you do not have three compartment sink use dishpans.
